Karan Singh Grover On Bipasha Basu’s Big Bengali Family, ‘Everyone Talks At The Same Time’
Bipasha Basu’s darling husband, Karan Singh Grover revealed how he feels when surrounded by his wife’s big fat Bengali family. Karan is the only Punjabi in a bunch of “noisy” Bongs and he says that he ends up keeping quiet and prefers to just listen.

He’s making heads turn with his powerful and sexy portrayal of the iconic TV character in the show’s redux. Bipasha Basu’s husband, who is a massive TV star recently revealed how he feels when surrounded by his wife’s big fat Bengali family. Karan, the only Punjabi, in a bunch of “noisy” Bongs sticks to keeping quiet and prefers to soak it all in, when he gets together with Bips’ family, he revealed.
Karan and Bipasha tied the knot in 2016 in an elaborate ceremony in Mumbai. The goofy couple floated the hashtag, #monkeylove to share candid shots from their dream wedding. Karan revealed that he has fit in beautifully in Bipasha’s big family, even though he’s the only Punjabi. He went on to add that he gels really well with one and all. What about Bengali festivals and their world-famous cuisine? Well, the actor let in that he enjoys both very much.

In a conversation with News 18, Karan said, "I think they really needed me. They needed one person to listen, because everyone always talks at the same time.”
Karan went on to add that “everyone talks about different things at the same time. Everyone talks in BengaIi obviously, which I know now. So I think they had this big need for somebody like me, who listens. Sometime they ask me, why are you not talking? I say you guys need someone to listen because you all talk at the same time. I feel blessed to have been taken in as a part of this family with such wonderful people who make such yummy food," Karan says.
